Potok transcribes Russian speech; this site has been translated into English for convenience.
Bitrix24 has no voice dictation of its own. The system's text fields accept ordinary input, in the web version and in the Windows and macOS apps alike. So you can dictate text through a separate program such as Potok (potok.now): hold the hotkey Ctrl+Space, say a phrase, release it, and it is inserted into the open field, with a Potok response time of about 0.4 seconds.
Bitrix24 is a CRM system that people work with in the browser and in apps for Windows and macOS. It has no voice dictation of its own, but its text fields accept ordinary input, as in any other program, so the question is not whether Bitrix24 will hear the voice itself, but what to use to deliver the text there.
Voice input in Bitrix24: what there is without third-party programs
Bitrix24 has no built-in speech recognition function, neither in the web version nor in the apps for Windows and macOS. Only the system tools of the operating system itself are available. On Windows this is Win+H: it recognizes speech in the Microsoft cloud, works only with an internet connection, and Russian is available in it only in Windows 11; Windows 10 does not have it. If Win+H does not work, see the analysis in the material on voice input in Word via Win+H. macOS has built-in dictation with Russian support. Both tools insert recognized text where the cursor is, including into ordinary Bitrix24 text fields, because the system accepts pasted text the same way as typed text. The official site of the system is bitrix24.ru.

How to dictate text in Bitrix24 with Potok
Besides system dictation, you can put text into Bitrix24 through a separate voice input program, for example Potok. The steps are the same for the web version in the browser and for the app on Windows or macOS:
- Put the cursor in an ordinary Bitrix24 text field.
- Hold the hotkey (Ctrl+Space by default) and say a phrase while the key is held.
- Release the key: the recognized text appears where the cursor was, with a Potok response time of about 0.4 seconds, and commas and periods are added automatically, with no separate commands.
How dictation works in other cloud services, not only in a CRM, is in the overview of voice input for apps.
When voice input in Bitrix24 will not help
Potok is a cloud service: speech recognition runs on servers in Russia, and it does not work without an internet connection, so dictation in Bitrix24 will stop together with the network, in the browser and in the app alike. It has no voice commands for editing text that is already inserted, so you have to fix the text by hand, as with ordinary typing. Potok has no mobile apps either, and the free plan is limited to 2500 words per week on one device, which may not be enough for someone who dictates in Bitrix24 all working day.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, if the text field accepts ordinary input: in Bitrix24 this is true for the web version and for the Windows and macOS apps alike, so text inserted by a third-party program appears in the field just like typed text.
No: what matters is system access to the microphone of the computer where the dictation program runs, not the CRM itself. Without such access dictation will not work in any app.
Potok states about 900 characters per minute by voice versus about 200 when typing, roughly 4 times faster. This is the product's own estimate, not an independent measurement.
Yes: Windows has built-in voice typing via Win+H (Russian only in Windows 11, Windows 10 has no Russian; it does not work without the internet), and the Mac has system dictation in the keyboard settings. Both are free.
Voice input is the conversion of speech to text on the fly: the user speaks, and the program transcribes the sound with speech recognition technology (ASR) and inserts the resulting text into the active field, such as email, a messenger or a document. In Potok this works through a hotkey: hold it, speak, release, and the text is inserted.
By a model estimate, the average dictation speed with Potok is about 900 characters per minute versus about 200 characters per minute with ordinary typing, so speech is noticeably faster than the keyboard.
