Key facts

  • A third party published a turbo average of 6.98, close to the large-v2 figure.
  • Indonesian speech often mixes in regional words and English, which can trip the recogniser.
  • Informal spoken forms differ from formal written Indonesian.
  • Export as TXT, DOCX, PDF, MD, SRT or VTT.
  • Shortened and informal forms in chat-style speech are written as heard, so the text can read casual.

What a transcript looks like

Sample sentence in Indonesian
[00:00] Speaker 1: Mari kita mulai rapat. Pertama, kita tinjau hasil minggu lalu, lalu kita rencanakan langkah berikutnya.

Meaning in English: Let's start the meeting. First, we'll review last week's results, then plan the next steps.

No large-v3 figure was found; the figure is from the earlier large-v2 model, and a third party published a turbo average of 6.98.

These numbers come from published tests by other people, not from tests by Potok. Your own audio, with its noise, accents and microphone, will differ.

How to do it

  1. Open the bot. Open @potok_now_bot in Telegram.
  2. Send the file. Audio, video or a YouTube link, up to 2 GB. Use Upload for big files.
  3. Check mixed words. Review regional and English terms; they are the likeliest places for errors.
  4. Compare with the audio. Spot-check a few passages to judge how much editing the rest needs.
  5. Fix repeated names once. Names recur through a recording, so correct one and then search for the same spelling elsewhere.
  6. Keep the original recording. Hold on to the audio until the text is final, so you can listen again to any line that looks doubtful.
  7. Export. DOCX or TXT for editing, SRT or VTT for subtitles.
