Potok transcribes Russian speech; this site has been translated into English for convenience.
For recordings longer than 10 minutes the bot @potok_now_bot proofreads the text: it fixes punctuation, capital letters and obvious recognition errors, but does not shorten or retell the text. Proofreading is on by default and can be switched off in the settings. The bot of the Potok service (potok.now) transcribes 60 minutes per month for free.
Proofreading is a correction of a long transcript, not a retelling of it. The bot does it for recordings longer than 10 minutes.
What the bot does with a long transcript: punctuation, case and how to turn off proofreading
Say you sent the bot an audio recording longer than 10 minutes, for example a long interview. The bot proofreads recordings longer than 10 minutes: it adds punctuation, watches capital letters and fixes obvious recognition errors. The text itself stays yours: the bot does not shorten or retell it.
Proofreading is on by default, and you do not need to ask for it separately. If you do not need it, you switch it off in the settings. Finished transcripts stay in “My recordings”, and how long transcripts are stored is described on a separate page.
How proofreading differs from a summary
Proofreading corrects the transcript text itself: punctuation, capital letters, obvious recognition errors. It does not shorten or retell the text. A short retelling of a conversation is a separate thing: the bot's buttons do it. “Summary” gives the main points and tasks by speaker, “Tasks and deadlines” builds a list, and “Ask” answers your question about the recording. So if you need a short text, proofreading will not help, and if you need the full text without cuts, you do not need a summary.
Who this answer does not fit
Proofreading is a bot function; in the Potok dictation app punctuation and capital letters are added automatically. The app does not transcribe finished recordings: for those there is the Telegram bot @potok_now_bot, and they share one subscription. The bot understands only Russian speech and translates nothing. Potok is a cloud service: recognition runs on servers in Russia, and it does not work without the internet. What happens when the free minutes run out is explained on the page about the 60-minute limit.

Yes, for recordings longer than 10 minutes proofreading is on by default, and you can switch it off in the settings.

Yes, a number of platforms have built-in meeting transcription: in Zoom for cloud recordings, in Microsoft Teams during the meeting, in Google Meet on Google Workspace plans. The alternative is to record the sound and process it with a separate transcription service after the call. The Potok app does not do this kind of transcription, it is for live dictation; you can send a call recording as a file to the Potok Telegram bot @potok_now_bot.
Voice input is real-time dictation: you speak and immediately get text in the active field. Transcription is turning an already finished audio or video recording (for example, a meeting recording) into text after the fact. The Potok app does the first job, live dictation; finished recordings in Russian are transcribed by its Telegram bot @potok_now_bot.
With Potok you can dictate the minutes live, saying them during or right after the meeting. Transcribing an already recorded meeting audio file (a finished Zoom or Telemost recording) is a separate transcription task: you can send such a file to the Potok Telegram bot @potok_now_bot.

Transcribe a recording in Telegram
Voice messages, video notes, audio and video are transcribed by Potok's Telegram bot @potok_now_bot: forward it a voice message from any chat, or send a file or a YouTube, VK Video or RuTube link. A short recording comes back as text in the chat, a long one as a file; timestamps and speaker labels can be turned on. The buttons give a short summary, tasks and deadlines, an answer to a question about the recording and export to TXT, DOCX, PDF or SRT. Large files, up to 2 GB, are easier to upload in the bot's mini app, via the Upload button next to the input field. The bot recognizes Russian speech; 60 minutes per month are free.
